Here we go, kids. This is the good stuff. By the time you're done with this section, you should have a healthy mindset shift. A lot of this is a repeat of what you might have learned in the micro-course, but it's important, so we are going to go over it again.
As you grow their businesses, you will move from transactional work to transformational work.
This means that you will need to adapt and change as you guide their business through growth. At each phase, you will need to address how you leverage: People, Processes, and Systems.
There are 4 Stages of Business: Business Happens:To Me: Life is happening to you at this stage and you need to act on an opportunity in front of you. Activation and the hustle in rolling something paired with amazing customer service is your job.
By Me: You are amazing at what you do and built a team that helps you do it. You are making real money and have created a 7 Figure company. Your ability to sell and deliver on what your product or service promises is everything.
Through Me: You are starting the transition from Transactional work to Transformational. This means less you do the sales and product delivery (Hands Doing) and more focusing on vision, team building, and strategy (Head Doing)
For Me: At this phase, you have set up all of the business systems to run your company and hired the people who run the processes in those systems. You no longer show up day to day and often serve only on a board that hires and fires the CEO and approves strategy decisions. You are 100% out of transactional and 100% in transformational.
What Phase are you in?
Your business is made up of people who run processes that are part of systems that deliver results to the company as a whole. I break those systems down into 6 core super systems.
Watch the presentation and then fill out the business systems audit self-assessment.
