This course is here to help you build the plan for your exit (Fire Yourself!) be that a company that is under executive management or a company that is ready to sell at its maximum valuation.
This is typically a 2 to 5-year process and should be done with the help of a number of professionals and consultants (adults!) who can step in when needed.
This course will guide you through discovering those exact moments when you need outside help and when to stop paying for that help.
This course is split into 7 primary sections with an appendix at the end. Each section contains lessons that help you understand what is needed and worksheets to help you gain clarity. Each section builds off of the ones before it. Feel free to use it as a reference in the future but try going through it in order the first time through.

The ~60 Min micro-course has two talks that I give to entrepreneurial groups all over the world. After listening to the two talks, you should have a good tone for what we are going to be working on in the larger course.
This course is the bones of the Fire Yourself book and methodology. By the time you are done with the various sections, you should have everything you need to build a plan and get your team moving in the same direction.

Entrepreneurial Burnout is the number one killer of a business. When you attempt to modify something about your business, you put yourself in a situation that increases the risk for burnout-related behaviors to have a real impact on you.
Let's start with "Do no harm" as our mission and make sure you are in the right state of mind and have proper expectations set for the journey you are starting.

As you heard in the micro course, the business journey is broken into 4 primary phases. The lessons in this section of the course are designed to help you understand what phase you are in based on how you leverage people, systems, and processes.
Once you have a clear understanding of your current position, it becomes an easy thing to plan your next steps.
Now that you have a good idea of what systems and processes need to be created to move you towards the next phase, it's time to think of the roles that need to be defined to create a business that you can Fire Yourself from.
It's time to figure out what roles you need, what people need to be in those roles, and what kind of leadership you need to display while guiding people through your vision.
All of this stuff systems and people stuff is wonderful, but can you pay for it all? Can you grow at a pace that you're happy with but doesn't put your business at risk? The only way to know is to have financial awareness.
This is just another business system, but it's so important that it gets its own section! I highly suggest working with a controller or CFO on this and using my teaching as the introduction to the concepts, not as a blueprint to follow.
As we mentioned at the start of this course, burnout is the number one killer of your business. In order to survive all of this you need to build support structures in your life.
This section introduces you to the different forms of support you'll need to reach the entrepreneurial endgame.
